1. Overview

Photo Blur & Mosaic Effects (the “App”), provided by Appmenia (“we”, “us”), helps you blur, mosaic, and pixelate photos. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not require an account, registration, or your name or email address to use the App.
• The photos you edit are processed entirely on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.
• We do not sell your personal information.

3. Information Processed on Your Device

Photo editing, including the automatic face and text detection feature, is performed locally using Apple’s built-in frameworks. Detections and edits never leave your device.

• Photos you import, edit, and save are stored in the App’s secure sandbox on your device.
• Thumbnails of your recent edits and a list of recent edits are stored locally on your device.
• Unused files are cleaned up automatically, and all of this local data is removed when you delete the App.

4. Advertising

The free version of the App is supported by advertising served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, AdMob may collect device information such as device identifiers, the advertising identifier (IDFA), IP address, device type, and information about ad interactions.

Personalized advertising is only used if you grant permission through the app-tracking prompt shown when you first use the App. If you decline, you will receive non-personalized ads.

You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time in your device settings (Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, or Settings → Privacy → Advertising → Limit Ad Tracking).

5. Subscriptions and Purchases

Pro subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles payment and provides us with information about your transactions.

Your subscription entitlement status is managed with RevenueCat, a subscription-management service. RevenueCat processes only the data needed to manage subscriptions; it never receives your photos.

We do not collect or store your payment card details.

6. Permissions

• Camera — to take photos for editing.
• Photo Library — to pick photos to edit and to save edited photos.
• App Tracking — to serve personalized ads, only with your consent.

You can grant or revoke any permission at any time in your device settings. Revoking a permission will not affect features that do not rely on it.

7. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

8. Your Rights and Choices

• You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time (see Section 4).
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings.
• Your photos and edit history are stored only on your device and can be removed by deleting the App.
• Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information. Contact us to exercise these rights.

9. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by the App. Photos and edits remain in the App’s secure sandbox on your device, and because we do not collect personal data, nothing is stored on our servers.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
