These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Photo Blur & Mosaic Effects mobile application (the “App”), provided by Appmenia (“we”, “us”, or “our”).
By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the App.
The App lets you blur, mosaic, pixelate, and apply other effects to your photos entirely on your device. It includes editing tools, an automatic face and text detection feature, a photo camera, and a share extension.
Your photos are processed locally on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.
License. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
You agree not to: (i) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App; (ii) copy, modify, or redistribute the App or any part of it; (iii) use the App to infringe the rights of others; (iv) use the App to create or distribute unlawful, harmful, or defamatory content; (v) attempt to interfere with or disrupt the App or its security; or (vi) use the App in violation of any applicable law.
The App is available in a free version and a paid “Pro” version.
FreeThe free version limits the number of edits you can perform (currently 10 per day) and is supported by advertising.
ProPro access removes the daily edit limit and removes advertising. Pro is unlocked through a subscription or a one-time purchase offered inside the App.
Pro access is offered as auto-renewing subscriptions and a one-time purchase:
All payments are processed by Apple through your App Store account. Subscriptions auto-renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions).
You will not receive a refund for any unused portion of a subscription period, except as required by applicable law. Prices may change from time to time; any change will take effect only after the current billing period.
The free version of the App is supported by advertising served by Google AdMob. You may see interstitial, rewarded, and app-open advertisements while using the free version. Pro users do not see ads.
Personalized advertising is only used if you grant permission through the app-tracking prompt shown when you first use the App. You can change this choice at any time in your device settings.
You retain full ownership of the photos you edit. You are solely responsible for the photos you import, edit, and export with the App.
You must have the right to use and share any photos you process, and your use of the App must not violate the rights of any third party or any applicable law.
The App, including its name, logo, design, code, and effects, is the property of Appmenia and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to our intellectual property.
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Appmenia shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or relating to your use of the App.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid, if any, to use the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the country in which you reside, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
